TalkSmart Training was so very lucky to take out the 2019 GMCU Allianz Campaspe Murray Business Awards in the Peoples Choice Award and the Best Home Based Business.

What can I say.  It was a huge honor and one that rendered myself speechless.  Who is TalkSmart Training?  That is me, Dawn. The person that will take your phone call, answer any queries you may have, take your booking, issue the receipts, take the first aid training sessions (all training and assessment is delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty. Ltd. RTO 90909) and then push the button so that you can have your certificates delivered almost straight away.  I also do what I call- the not so fun stuff- bookwork for my accountant.

I have this thing, “If you can dream it, you can do it” Walt Disney. I turned my passion into reality. This award is for you the people who have supported my First aid training business.  All I ever wanted to do was to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to attend quality and focused first aid courses in their town. I don’t want people to sit in classes of twenty people and get lost. I want you to be able to help one of your family members if the need ever arose.

Below is an extract of what was in the Mirage News.

“Campaspe Shire Council Mayor, Cr Adrian Weston said the award ceremony, held every two years, is a great way to highlight the fantastic local businesses we have and to celebrate their innovation.

“This year was especially exciting with the addition of a People’s Choice Award, which saw 3,800 votes cast from the community for their favourite business,” Cr Weston said.

“The Echuca-based mobile first aid training company, TalkSmart Training, took out the People’s Choice Award along with the Best Home Based Business Award.”

“This year’s awards attracted 93 applications across 12 categories, with the awards ceremony being held at the Rich River Golf Club on Wednesday, 9 October.”

“Each category had two external judges who reviewed the applications and conducted onsite visits to gain a better understanding of the businesses.” https://www.miragenews.com/2019-business-award-winners-campaspe-shire-council/
